Why build on T-REX?

T-REX Network is the application layer for regulated tokenized real-world assets. Builders on T-REX get access to:

  • The most adopted standard in regulated tokenization. ERC-3643 has been used to tokenize $32B+ of assets across 140+ institutional members and 20+ jurisdictions. Anything built on it integrates with an ecosystem that already exists.
  • A live testnet today. The T-REX Ledger Testnet (Ingen) is open and operational — RPC, explorer, bridge, and faucet are all live. Build, test, and validate integrations before mainnet.
  • A clear path to institutional users. Applications listed on the T-REX AppStore reach issuers, transfer agents, distributors, and institutional investors actively using the network.
  • A defense-in-depth compliance posture. The Compliance Engine — protocol-level rules, vetted apps, institutional validators, distributed nodes, Ethereum settlement — does the heavy lifting institutions require, so builders can focus on their product.

T-REX is built for serious applications: institutional, compliance-aware, and designed to operate in production.

What we're looking for

The T-REX ecosystem welcomes applications and services that extend the network into specialized verticals or deliver value to its institutional users. Categories already mapped on the roadmap include:

  • Issuance & tokenization — alternative or specialized issuance dApps, asset structuring tools, tokenized vehicle templates.
  • Distribution — primary distribution, secondary liquidity, marketplaces, order matching, DEX integrations.
  • Identity & onboarding — KYC/AML providers, accreditation services, OnchainID claim issuers.
  • Custody & wallets — institutional custody, MPC, hardware-secured wallets, qualified custodians.
  • Compliance tooling — monitoring, screening, reporting, regulatory dashboards.
  • Lending & collateral — collateralized finance protocols supporting ERC-3643 assets.
  • Analytics & data — on-chain analytics, market data, indexing, valuation services.
  • Operations — corporate actions, lifecycle management, redemptions, distributions.

Two paths into the AppStore are open to builders:

  • On-chain applications — dApps deployed on T-REX Ledger that interact directly with ERC-3643 tokens and OnchainID. Listed in the AppStore catalogue and accessible to all ecosystem participants.
  • Off-chain services — service providers (KYC, audit, legal, custody, market-making, advisory) made discoverable through the AppStore as referenced partners for issuers and investors.

Technical support

  • Integration assistance with the T-REX Engine API, the reference smart contracts, and the testnet.
  • Access to deployed shared infrastructure on the testnet (factories, identity registries) so builders don't have to redeploy the stack.
  • Direct support from the T-REX engineering team during integration and testing.

Ecosystem access

  • A clear path from testnet to AppStore listing.
  • Visibility to the network's institutional user base — issuers, transfer agents, distributors, and investors using T-REX Network.
  • Co-marketing opportunities at the AppStore launch and beyond.

Vetting & trust

  • Builder applications go through a vetting process covering technical compatibility, security, compliance alignment, and operational integrity. The vetting itself becomes a trust signal — institutional users know that listed applications have been reviewed before being made available.

How to apply

Builder applications are open today. The process is:

1. Express interest

Reach out to the T-REX Network team with a short overview of your application:

  • What it does and which audience it serves.
  • How it integrates with ERC-3643 / OnchainID / the T-REX Ledger.
  • Where it sits in the stack (on-chain dApp vs off-chain service).
  • Team and traction summary.

2. Technical review

A technical conversation with the T-REX engineering team to walk through your architecture, integration path, and any open questions. We'll align on what's required to get to a working integration on the testnet.

3. Build on the testnet

Develop and test your integration on the T-REX Ledger Testnet (Ingen). The testnet is the staging environment for AppStore submission — every application that lists on the AppStore is expected to demonstrate working integration on the testnet first.

4. Vetting & AppStore listing

Once your integration is functional on the testnet, your application enters the AppStore vetting process — technical compatibility, security review, compliance alignment, operational integrity. Approved applications are listed in the AppStore catalogue and become discoverable by institutional users.

5. Mainnet graduation

Applications that complete vetting are ready to graduate to mainnet alongside the AppStore launch in Q3 2026.

A word on what we ask of builders

The T-REX AppStore is positioned to serve institutional users. The bar is meaningfully different from open marketplaces: builders are expected to operate with the same seriousness as the institutions using the network.

  • Maintain operational standards consistent with regulated counterparties.
  • Honor the AppStore's identity, compliance, and review model.
  • Stand behind your application to your users — the contractual relationship for each application remains between the provider and the end user.

This is not a barrier to participation. It's the reason institutional users trust the AppStore in the first place.
